Common Recruitment Examination clerical slots only
All India Institute of Medical Sciences and participating institutes notify a Common Recruitment Examination for various non-faculty posts, including clerical and store roles that may include a skill test. CRE clerical posts support hospitals and administration: registration, files, and official correspondence. Not every CRE post is a typing post — check the vacancy table. This page uses ten minutes and 35 WPM as a practice gate where typing is required.
Computer-based CRE, then skill test or computer proficiency where the post requires it, then verification and medical as per institute rules is the usual shape. A nursing or technical CRE post will not use this clerical typing page as an official stage. Each CRE post has its own essential qualifications. Using this page will not harm a non-clerical candidate’s fingers, but it is not a mock of their paper. Read the post-wise table before you rearrange a month around a keyboard.
Hospital registration desks versus nursing or technical CRE posts
Clerical AIIMS work is interruption-heavy: registration counters, phones, and urgent notes. Timed accuracy is still the exam skill. Learn to restart concentration after a pause when you practise longer sittings, but pass the quiet paragraph first. Hospital names, drug spellings, and registration IDs are good custom-list practice after you can hold the cutoff on generic prose. The official passage may still be ordinary English. Hospital information systems stay English-heavy even in Hindi-belt cities.
English dominates hospital information systems. Hindi appears in many AIIMS offices. Follow the skill-test language in the notice. Spoken counter Hindi does not convert an English paper. If Hindi is listed, train Devanagari on a desktop. Roman Hindi is not the paper. Lock the medium before you travel. This page can switch language; it cannot install an institute image’s IME. Changing script in the parking lot is a failing plan.
Institute medical rules after the skill module
Verification and medical follow institute rules after you clear required modules. A comfortable typing mock does not move a medical, and a medical does not waive typing where the post lists it. Document lists are post-specific. The candidate name in this settings box is a local label. Labs match identity documents. Carry whatever the CRE notice prints for your post. Nothing on this page is transmitted to AIIMS or a participating institute.
Where typing is required, treat it as a hospital-administration clerical test in the mid-30s WPM band unless the CRE notice says otherwise. Official error-counting, font, and backspace follow that notice. This browser allows ordinary backspace so you can train recovery. If the letter is stricter, add never-correct sittings. Do not import CHSL’s key-depression folklore unless the CRE PDF uses that language. Registration IDs and drug spellings belong in custom lists after the hold.
Drug spellings as custom practice, not a promise about the official passage
Coders and nurses need drug accuracy for clinical reasons. Clerical CRE candidates need it only as extra workplace hygiene. Do not memorise a formulary as if it were the lab paragraph. Generic running-matter endurance is the core. After the accuracy gate holds, add a short list of hospital names and registration-like identifiers. Wrong IDs at a registration desk become complaint cases. Wrong drug spellings in a clerk’s note can also travel; keep them clean if you add them.
This page does not score ICD codes, nursing theory, or store-keeping knowledge. Those belong to other CRE cadres. If your post is store or accounts, you may still need typing — read the table — but you also need that post’s own papers. Opening this card does not mock those papers. Opening a nursing card on some other site does not mock this keyboard. Match the post code to the skill that is actually listed.
Interruption-heavy AIIMS offices after joining
The exam hall is quiet. The registration desk is not. After you qualify, keep a weekly timed sitting so the skill does not decay before joining. Then add restart drills: pause, answer a hypothetical counter question, return to the line. That is workplace training, not a substitute for the official clock. Exam typing is an artificial paragraph. Hospital clerical typing is fragmented fields and proper nouns. Read the post-wise essential qualifications before you live on this URL.
A four-week plan for posts that list typing: week one confirm the vacancy table and medium, take three baselines; week two accuracy plus identifier drills; week three full ten-minute holds; week four reread the skill-test letter and rest. If computer proficiency is listed separately, add desktop Office practice in weeks two and three. Do not discover file dialogs the night before. If the table never lists typing, stop living on this URL.
Reading the vacancy table before treating CRE as a typing exam
CRE is a brand that covers many cadres. Internet lists sometimes talk as if every AIIMS CRE post has a keyboard paper. That is false. Only posts that list a typing or computer skill test use this practice as a relevant rehearsal. A storekeeper, a technician, and a clerk can share a CRE season and not share a skill test. Your post code is the only honest filter. Store and clerical posts share a CRE advertisement, not a skill test.
Participating institutes may add their own verification or medical wrinkles after a common examination. Follow the notice that named your institute. This guide cannot list every campus rule. If a paragraph here conflicts with the CRE PDF, follow the PDF. If your hall ticket is for a different employer that merely works inside a hospital, open that employer’s card instead. Letterhead decides the mock, not the fact that the building smells like a hospital.
Hospital corridors that still belong to different employers
ESIC UDC and AIIMS CRE clerical work can look similar from a hospital corridor. They are different employers, different notices, and different software. If you hold both admit cards in one year, read both skill-test letters. Do not assume one 35 WPM gate covers both labs. Sit the card that matches tomorrow’s letterhead. Opening the ESIC card still trains fingers; it teaches the wrong caveat about CRE post codes. Institute medical sheets remain after a cleared keyboard.
Official PDFs always win. Nothing here is a certificate, a hall ticket, or a score any institute receives. If a cycle drops typing for your post, you do not need this exam box. If it keeps typing and adds computer proficiency, add those skills outside this page. The browser geometry will not match the official client. Match characters under a clock. That is the only shared craft. A CRE CBT mock is not this skill rehearsal and vice versa.
