US QWERTY keyboard

Default US ANSI board. Letters sit where English typists expect them. The on-screen board and this table follow the layout you picked in the exam settings. Set the same layout in your operating system so the keys you press match English on this page.

Home-row fingers rest on A S D F and J K L semicolon. Capitals and number-row marks use Shift.

This is the layout of most US clerical tests and of the English lessons on this site.

How to type letters on US QWERTY

Each row is a character that is not a plain unshifted English letter on that physical key. Shift and AltGr chords change with the layout.

Combined West Bengal stand-in for SSC and PSC-style clerks

West Bengal clerical recruitments appear through WBSSC, WBPSC, and departmental boards. This page is a combined practice stand-in for SSC/PSC-style clerk typing in West Bengal. Clerks sit in state offices. Bengali typing is often the real gate; English is the second paper. This rehearsal uses English practice at 30 WPM / ten minutes. Bengali must be practised with a Bengali keyboard if compulsory. Hindi on this site is not Bengali.

Written plus typing in Bengali and/or English as that board notifies is the usual shape. Follow WBSSC or WBPSC as named on your advertisement. They are not interchangeable. Keyboard work does not rewrite either table. A practice screenshot does not enter a board file. Nothing here is transmitted to WBSSC or WBPSC. We group West Bengal clerical typing because candidates search both boards. Your admit card still names one employer. Read that PDF.

Bengali as the real gate; English as the second paper

A huge English buffer with a dead Bengali hand is the classic failing plan. Spoken Bangla does not convert a Bengali keyboard. If Bengali is listed, install a Bengali layout and practise official-style passages yourself. Use this page for English endurance and accuracy. Do not assume an English 30 WPM result clears a Bengali sitting. Official software remains the board named on the admit card, not this browser. Departmental Bengal notices override this grouped stand-in.

This is not an official WBSSC mock. It is clerical practice labelled for West Bengal-style posts: English, Hindi, and Bengali on the paper-language switch. Board-specific software and exact WPM are in your notice. Convert the printed English figure. Official error-counting, font, and backspace follow that board. This browser allows ordinary backspace so you can train recovery. If the letter is stricter, add never-correct sittings. Bengali typing, when compulsory, still needs the lab’s Bengali keyboard confirmed against this rehearsal.

WBSSC and WBPSC are not interchangeable employers

One search box on the internet does not merge two commissions. If your hall ticket is WBPSC, obey WBPSC. If it is WBSSC, obey WBSSC. If it is a departmental board, obey that letterhead. Opening this combined card is convenient practice, not a licence to ignore the header. Eligibility rows differ. Skill-test software can differ. A practice WPM does not move you from one board’s list to the other. Hindi letters here are not Bangla official noting.

Tripura High Court and Odisha SSC are neighbouring-region cards, not this stand-in. If your admit card is Agartala, open that card. If it is OSSC, open that card. Bengali may appear in a Tripura notice; Odia appears in Odisha. Do not treat eastern-India bilingual offices as one exam. Sit the matching URL. Official PDFs always win. Bilingual career skill is the job; this clock cannot finish the Bangla half. State-office noting is Bengali-first; English letters still leave the same desk.

Hindi here is not Bengali

Do not treat a Hindi sitting as Bengali practice. The scripts differ. Use Hindi here only if the notice mentions Hindi — uncommon compared with Bengali. Adding the wrong extra script the week of the lab wastes hours you needed for Bengali. Follow the advertisement. Workplace Hindi in some offices does not create a third official paper. Spoken desk language does not rewrite the dropdown. OSSC Odia papers and Tripura court papers are neighbouring, not this employer.

Week one: confirm which board named you, baseline English here, install Bengali if listed. Week two: accuracy in both. Week three: full-window holds. Week four: reread that board’s letter, rest. Written papers are not this clock. This clock is not a Bengal GS booklet. Split the week. Do not hide in English because Bengali typing feels slower. Do not hide in handwriting because the paper is a keyboard. Tripura court mocks never staff a Kolkata directorate.

Admit-card header names the board you must obey

Document verification matches that board’s list. The candidate name in settings is a local label. Labs match photo and signature. A practice WPM does not cure a missing language clause. Carry whatever the notice lists. Eat, use a familiar desktop keyboard the day before, and bring glasses if you need them. A typing test is a vision test too. Nothing here is a hall ticket. A 30 WPM ten-minute English gate here is only the Latin-script slice.

After joining, keep weekly sittings in every script you qualified on. Bengali noting and English letters are the career. Bengali decay is real if you retreat to English social media. English decay is real on a Bengali-first desk. Add West Bengal place names you mis-type. Exam typing is a burst. District typing is interruption and proper nouns. This pack is not a Bengali simulator. Read the named board’s skill paragraph the night before the lab.

English endurance and accuracy as this page’s job

If a paragraph here conflicts with the current WBSSC or WBPSC advertisement, follow that advertisement. If the post has no typing test, you do not need this exam box. If it has Bengali, add that skill outside the limits of this page. A 30 WPM practice gate is a training floor, not a Kolkata joining letter. Official software remains the named board’s. The browser geometry will not match the official client.

Computer modules, if listed beside typing, need a real desktop. Clearing only WPM here is then incomplete. Memorising this finite pack is wasted effort. Official passages will not match. Read ahead and hit the current character. Hold accuracy first, then add a buffer so a stiff lab keyboard does not drop you under the printed English line. WBSSC and WBPSC are different boards; your admit card names only one. Departmental board notices, when that is your PDF, override this grouping.

Kolkata Bengali that still names one employer, not three

Open OSSC if the admit card is Odisha. Open Tripura High Court if the admit card is Agartala. Open the named Bengal board’s rules if the admit card is WBSSC or WBPSC — and use this card for English endurance while you build Bengali on the OS. Sit the matching URL the week of each lab. Do not assume one English gate covers every eastern clerical news item. Bengali is the local warning this page exists to repeat.

Nothing here is transmitted to WBSSC or WBPSC. We grouped the search term because candidates type both names. Your PDF still names one employer. Match the header. The shared craft is matching characters under a clock. The shared cutoff is a fiction. Official letters beat a combined practice label. Do not invent a single “West Bengal SSC” client that both boards share. This URL is a combined English/Hindi stand-in for Bengal-style clerk searches.
