US QWERTY keyboard

Default US ANSI board. Letters sit where English typists expect them. The on-screen board and this table follow the layout you picked in the exam settings. Set the same layout in your operating system so the keys you press match English on this page.

Home-row fingers rest on A S D F and J K L semicolon. Capitals and number-row marks use Shift.

This is the layout of most US clerical tests and of the English lessons on this site.

How to type letters on US QWERTY

Each row is a character that is not a plain unshifted English letter on that physical key. Shift and AltGr chords change with the layout.

Agartala’s compact cadre and irregular vacancy years

The High Court of Tripura at Agartala recruits a smaller ministerial cadre than larger High Courts, but still uses written papers and skill tests when posts are notified. Clerks and stenographers support a compact High Court with close district-court coordination in Tripura. Frequency of vacancies is lower; read each rare notice from scratch. This page uses 35 WPM and ten minutes for English court prose. It is not a recycled Delhi High Court cutoff and not a West Bengal clerical stand-in.

Advertisement-based written test, English and/or Bengali typing as notified, and verification is the usual shape. Tripura-specific age and educational rules, sometimes with local candidate clauses, sit in that rare PDF. Keyboard work does not rewrite them. A practice screenshot does not enter an Agartala Registry file. Nothing here is transmitted to the High Court. Treat a rare vacancy as a full skill-test project, not a memory of older Indian court exams.

Bengali or Kokborok requirements outside the Hindi pack

English clerical typing in the 30–35 WPM band is a reasonable practice target. Bengali typing, if listed, is on this page’s Bengali option. Kokborok requirements, if any, come only from the notice and need separate script practice. Hindi on this site is not Bengali. Spoken Bengali or Kokborok does not convert an English paper. If the advertisement requires Bengali, switch paper language here and still confirm the lab IME.

Do not copy a Delhi High Court cutoff onto Tripura. Small High Courts still fail candidates on accuracy. A 35 WPM score with dirty party names still fails. Practise clean English legal running matter first so you can pass the lab. Then add Tripura place names you mis-type. Wrong titles are more visible in a smaller establishment. Every clerk’s typing errors show. Local-candidate clauses appear in some Tripura rules and not in others.

Why a Delhi High Court cutoff should never be copied here

Delhi’s JJA volume, PA shorthand streams, and 30–40 WPM folklore belong to another campus. Agartala’s notice may print a different pair, a Bengali paper, or a quieter vacancy cycle. If your hall ticket is Delhi, open that card. If it is Tripura, stay here and read the rare PDF as if you had never seen another court exam. Internet lists that paste one Indian court cutoff onto every High Court are the enemy of this card.

West Bengal clerical pages on this site are a combined SSC/PSC stand-in, not Tripura High Court. If your admit card is WBSSC or WBPSC, open that card. If it is Agartala, stay here. Bengali may appear in both stories. The letterhead still decides. A Kolkata board mock does not move an Agartala list. An Agartala mock does not move a Bengal board list. Stenographer rows, when opened, still need dictation outside this site.

Smaller establishment, more visible typing errors

A compact High Court means each clerk’s errors are easier to see. Accuracy is the professional habit to build. Hold the accuracy gate before you hunt speed. Official passages may still be generic English. After you hold the timed gate, add custom lists of Agartala and district names. Exam typing is a burst. A smaller Registry is still interruption and identifiers. This pack is flavour, not CIS. Treat a rare vacancy as a full skill-test project, not a recycled memory.

Stenographer posts add dictation this page does not play. Read the post name. Computer extras, if listed, need a real desktop. Official error-counting, font, and backspace follow that rare notice. This browser allows ordinary backspace so you can train recovery. Convert the printed figure. Do not argue an SSC CHSL key-depression story at an Agartala lab door unless the PDF uses that language. Kokborok requirements, if printed, need a separate script plan.

Local candidate clauses in Tripura rules

Some advertisements add local candidate clauses that larger High Courts do not use in the same way. A practice WPM does not cure a missing local paper at verification. Carry whatever the notice lists. The candidate name in settings is a local label. Labs match photo and signature. Eat, use a familiar keyboard the day before, and bring glasses if you need them. Rare sittings are easy to waste with a missing document.

Because vacancies are irregular, skills decay between notices. If you want to stay ready, keep a monthly English court-prose sitting even in a quiet year. When a notice appears, its skill-test rules override any memory of older Indian court exams. Intensify to a four-week plan: baseline, accuracy, full-window holds, reread the new letter. Do not reuse last decade’s speed as if it were this PDF. A smaller establishment makes each clerk’s typo more visible on the docket.

Treating a rare notice as a full project, not a recycled memory

Week one after a new advertisement: confirm languages, including Bengali or Kokborok if printed, and take English baselines here. Week two: accuracy plus place-name lists. Week three: full-window holds and OS-level second-script work. Week four: reread the letter, rest, pack documents. Law reading is not timed fingers. A Delhi JJA plan is not this project. Split the week according to the Agartala PDF only. Copying a Delhi High Court cutoff onto Agartala is a failing shortcut.

After selection, keep weekly sittings in every script you qualified on. In a small establishment the skill is visible every day. Accuracy on Tripura place names is the transferable habit. A 35 WPM practice gate is a training floor, not an Agartala joining letter. Official PDFs always win if they disagree with this guide. Nothing here is transmitted to the High Court. District-court coordination in a compact state still wants clean lists.

Agartala rarity versus Kolkata boards and Delhi volume

Open a larger High Court card only if that is the hall ticket in your pocket. Open the West Bengal clerical card if that is the board. Open this card if the letterhead is Tripura High Court. Bengali can appear in more than one of those stories. The employer still decides. Do not assume one English gate covers Agartala, Kolkata, and Delhi. Small-cadre accuracy is the local warning this page exists to repeat.

If a paragraph here conflicts with the current Tripura High Court advertisement, follow the advertisement. If the post has no typing test, you do not need this exam box. If it has Bengali, Kokborok, or shorthand, add those skills outside the limits of this page. Then use the timed paper above to keep English court craft ready for a year that may not come soon. English 30–35 WPM is a reasonable practice target until the notice speaks.

Frequently asked questions about Tripura High Court

Qualifying rules, languages, WPM versus official software, and how this practice paper is not a Tripura HC certificate.

No. Many smaller High Courts recruit clerical staff irregularly. When a notice appears, its skill-test rules override any memory of older Indian court exams. Use this page to stay ready, but only treat the current advertisement as official. A quiet year is not permission to copy a Delhi cutoff. Intensify to a four-week plan only after you have the new PDF. Rare sittings are easy to waste with recycled assumptions.
