Chandigarh High Court serving two states
The High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh recruits clerical and stenographer staff for the common High Court of both states, and related establishments as notified. Clerks and stenographers support the Chandigarh High Court and may connect to district courts in Punjab and Haryana according to the advertisement. Written test, typing and/or shorthand, computer practical in some years, and verification is the usual shape. English typing is often essential; Hindi or Punjabi may appear depending on the post. Speeds commonly sit near 30–40 WPM. English is the safest default for this High Court practice page. Official notices sometimes mention Punjabi. Pick Punjabi in paper language for a Gurmukhi running-matter rehearsal. Hindi Devanagari is not Punjabi. This site’s Hindi pack is Devanagari, not Gurmukhi. Do not treat Hindi as Punjabi. Spoken Punjabi does not convert a Gurmukhi paper, and it does not convert an English paper. Chandigarh labs and bilingual offices reward clean English legal typing. Add petitioner, respondent, and party names from both states after the timed gate holds. The official passage may still be generic English. PSSSB board papers never inherit this High Court’s two-state cadre rules.
Punjab cadre versus Haryana cadre rows in one vacancy table

Week one: confirm cadre row, language, and whether Punjabi is listed. Baseline English here. Week two: accuracy plus legal spellings. Week three: full-window holds. Week four: Gurmukhi on the OS if required, computer practical if listed, reread the letter, rest. Law reading is not timed fingers. Split the week. Touch typing survives a strange Chandigarh lab keyboard; hunt-and-peck does not. Gurmukhi, when listed, must be trained on the operating system, not Hindi.
30–40 WPM court prose, ten minutes, 35 WPM practice gate

After selection, keep a weekly English sitting so the skill does not decay before joining. Then keep whatever second script you actually qualified on. Allocation toward a Punjab district court or a Haryana district court still needs clean party names. This pack is flavour, not CIS. Official tools will not look like a browser. Chandigarh English that is not a Punjab board Gurmukhi paper
Delhi High Court is a different campus and a different service. English legal typing overlaps; Gurmukhi warnings and two-state cadre tables do not. If your hall ticket is Delhi, open that card. If it is Chandigarh, stay here. PSSSB is a state board. This card is the common High Court. Match the letterhead rather than treating “north India court typing” as one exam. Stenographer rows still add shorthand this typing half cannot score.
