A certificate used by departments, not a job offer
Madhya Pradesh’s Computer Proficiency Certification Test is a state-level qualifying exam used by many MP departments as a mandatory computer and typing certificate, run through the notified agency — often MP Agency or as renamed in the current GR. CPCT itself is a certificate, not a job. Departments then require CPCT for clerical, assistant, and some computer posts. This page uses a longer DEST-like clock and a 30 WPM practice gate so you can train endurance.
Online computer-proficiency plus typing modules in English and Hindi as per the current CPCT scheme is the usual shape. Scores have validity periods — check the latest GR. Anyone meeting the CPCT application rules can sit; then employers add their own post eligibility. A CPCT score is not a job offer. A practice screenshot from this page is not a CPCT score. Nothing here is transmitted to the agency. Skip Hindi at your peril if both language modules are scored.
Official CPCT client versus this endurance drill
Official CPCT uses its own interface, question mix, and scoring. Take official mock modules when the agency publishes them, and use this page for extra timed practice. Font, backspace, and the computer-proficiency items will not match a browser typing engine. Do not show this result at a CPCT door as if it were the certificate. Do not skip official mocks because your endurance here looks comfortable. Keep practising after the certificate so the skill does not decay.
Typing modules are timed and scored with published minimums that have changed. Convert the current scheme. This 30 WPM gate is a training floor, not a GR quote. English and Hindi typing modules both matter for a full CPCT profile. Do not skip Hindi. Roman Hindi is not Devanagari. InScript on a desktop is closer to many labs than phone typing. This page can switch language. It cannot open the official client.
English and Hindi modules, skip neither
A one-script plan fails a two-module certificate. Log English and Hindi as separate sittings. Spoken MP Hindi does not convert an English module. English WPM does not convert a Hindi module. If the current scheme weights one module differently, still train both unless the GR says one is optional — which you should not assume. Lock layouts in week one. Changing a layout after you see the official screen wastes a paid sitting.
MP High Court, MP Police, and departmental clerks all interact with CPCT differently. Some require a current CPCT, some still run their own skill test, some want both. Read both the CPCT scheme and the job notice. This page is endurance. The High Court JJA card is court prose. The MP Police card is police clerical. Do not merge three screenshots into one waiver story. The official agency client is not this browser’s fifteen-minute DEST-like clock.
Validity periods in the current GR
Scores expire. A comfortable result from three years ago may be dead on a new departmental form. Check the latest GR before you skip a retake. Keyboard work does not extend validity. A practice sitting here does not reprint a certificate. If your score is still valid, keep a monthly endurance sitting so the skill does not decay before joining. If it has lapsed, treat CPCT as a fresh project.
Week one: download the current scheme, baseline both scripts, book official mocks if available. Week two: accuracy, including digits if the scheme’s computer mix is DEST-like. Week three: full-window holds on this page plus official items. Week four: reread the GR, rest, sit the real client. Computer-proficiency items belong on a real desktop. This page will not open those questions. A job advertisement can still demand a live test besides a valid CPCT.
High Court, Police, and departments treating CPCT differently
Only if a High Court advertisement expressly accepts CPCT in place of its own test does the certificate replace a JJA sitting. Many judicial recruitments still run a live typing test. Police notices may want CPCT, a live test, or both. Departmental clerks may want a valid CPCT and nothing else. Read the job PDF. Opening this card does not mock JJA court prose. Opening the JJA card does not print a CPCT score.
After you are certified, you still type real files. Keep practising after the certificate so the skill does not decay before joining. Workplace typing is interruption and proper nouns. Exam typing is a module. Accuracy on names and amounts is the habit that transfers. Official e-office screens will not look like this browser. Official CPCT screens will not look like this browser either. English and Hindi modules both matter for a complete CPCT profile.
Longer DEST-like clock, 30 WPM practice gate
The longer clock is so endurance holds when official modules feel longer than a one-minute sprint. If the current scheme is shorter, you can still use this window as over-training. If it is longer, add a second sitting. Convert duration from the GR. Official error-counting may differ from a five-character WPM engine. Keep accuracy in the log, not only peak speed. Backspace policy follows the official client, not this site.
If a paragraph here conflicts with the current CPCT scheme, follow the scheme. If you do not need CPCT for any job, you do not need this exam box. If you need it, take the official client seriously and use this page as extra timed practice. A 30 WPM practice gate is a training floor, not a certificate. Nothing here is transmitted to the notified agency. This page trains endurance and accuracy, not the official question mix.
Fifteen-minute CPCT versus JJA versus a police live paper
Open the MP High Court card if the admit card is JJA. Open the MP Police card if the admit card is police clerical. Open departmental cards when those letterheads appear. Open this card when you are training the statewide certificate. Hindi InScript helps several of those paths. Waiver stories do not transfer. Sit the matching URL the week of each live test. Do not show a CPCT unofficial mock at a High Court door.
Keep the layouts you certified on. Hindi decay is real if you retreat to English social media while waiting for a departmental vacancy. English decay is real on a Hindi-first desk. A valid score with dead fingers is how people fail a later live test that CPCT did not waive. Official GRs always win. Jabalpur JJA still runs a High Court sitting unless the notice borrows CPCT. MP Police notices may want CPCT, a live paper, or both.
