What is the application fee for SSC CGL 2026?

For this cycle the published fee is Rs 100 for General, OBC and EWS male candidates. SC, ST, PwBD (PH) and all female candidates are shown as Nil / exempt. Form correction, if used, was Rs 200 the first time and Rs 500 the second time. Payment was online only through debit card, credit card, net banking, IMPS, UPI or wallet on the SSC gateway. Is there negative marking in SSC CGL 2026?

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an Important Notice dated 12 September 2026 (F.No. HQ-EC033/7/2025-EC) for Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026.

Tier-I (Computer Based Examination) will be held from 30 September 2026 to 30 October 2026. The Tier 1 admit card has not been released. City intimation is expected from 21 September and the admit card from 27 September — treat those dates as expected, not confirmed. Always confirm on ssc.gov.in.
