When is IBPS Clerk XVI prelims and when will the admit card come?

Prelims is scheduled on 10 and 11 October 2026. IBPS usually releases the call letter about 10 days before the paper, but that is a habit, not a promise printed on this page. Open ibps.in with your CRP-XVI registration number. City intimation, if issued separately, still does not replace the full call letter with reporting time.

Is IBPS Clerk XVI the same as the 15 September 2026 reserve list?

No. The 15 September 2026 PDF is the 2nd reserve list of CRP CSA-XV (Clerk XV), after an earlier 15 June 2026 list. Clerk XVI is a new notification (1 August 2026) with 11,403 posts and October prelims. If you are waiting for XV allotment, use the reserve-list page. If you filled XVI, wait for the October call letter.

What is the IBPS Clerk XVI selection process?

Typical Clerk / CSA stages are online Prelims, online Mains, then local language proficiency where the participating bank requires it, then provisional allotment. There is normally no interview for this post. Negative marking in objective tests follows the IBPS one-fourth rule unless the 2026 notice says otherwise. Read the CRP CSA-XVI notification for sectional timing and the exact Mains pattern; older Clerk XV pattern PDFs are not a substitute.

How do I download the Clerk XVI call letter?

Go to https://www.ibps.in/ and open the CRP CSA-XVI link used at registration. Enter Registration Number and Password / Date of Birth. Download the prelims call letter when the button is live, check photograph and category, and print two copies. IBPS does not send the hall ticket by ordinary post. This site will add a direct admit-card URL in Useful Links only after IBPS publishes it.

What should Clerk XVI candidates do in September 2026?

Applications are already closed. Revise Prelims English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning under a 20-minute sectional timer. Keep photo ID that matches the application. Do not log in with Clerk XV credentials. Watch ibps.in twice a week from late September for city / call letter notices, and ignore “Clerk exam postponed” forwards unless IBPS itself uploads a notice.

IBPS Clerk XVI (CRP CSA-XVI) is the live Customer Service Associate recruitment. The notification is dated 1 August 2026 and lists 11,403 posts. Prelims will be held on 10 and 11 October 2026.

This page is not the Clerk XV reserve list. CSA-XV published a 2nd reserve list on 15 September 2026; that allotment does not give you a Clerk XVI admit card. Keep CRP-XVI registration details separate from any old CRP-XV password.

Call letters and city slips appear only on ibps.in. After prelims, mains and (where applicable) local language tests follow the Clerk XVI notice. There is no interview for Office / CSA posts in the usual IBPS Clerk scheme — confirm the 2026 PDF if IBPS prints a change.

The live CRP CSA-XVI advertisement used here lists 11,403 Customer Service Associate posts. State-wise and bank-wise numbers are in the Clerk XVI vacancy annexure on ibps.in. Do not add Clerk XV leftover seats to this total. Participating banks can still revise indents before provisional allotment, so treat 11,403 as the notified headline, not a joining letter count.
