Head Constable Ministerial and related computer cadres through Delhi Police
Delhi Police, often through SSC, recruits Head Constable (Ministerial) and related computer or communication support cadres with a typing or computer skill test. HCM staff run police offices: records, correspondence, and ministerial work. AWO and TPO are technical-wireless posts that may use different skill modules — read the post name on your form. This page uses a police-flavoured pack, 30 WPM, and ten minutes. It is not CAPF General Duty and not CRPF’s ministerial notice.
CBT, physical standards if applicable, skill test, medical, and DV is the usual shape. Ministerial skill tests emphasise typing more than GD constable PE. SSC or Delhi Police advertisement rules apply. Height and other physical standards may still apply to ministerial posts. Typing practice does not relax PST. A practice screenshot does not enter a Delhi Police file. Nothing here is transmitted to SSC or the force. Do not train as if this were CAPF GD; it is office typing in a police organisation.
AWO and TPO modules that may not be running matter
Do not prepare as if this were CAPF GD. It is office typing in a police organisation. AWO and TPO computer modules, if any, are extra to this running-matter page. Read the post name. If your form is HCM, this typing card is the relevant skill. If your form is AWO or TPO, confirm whether the notice wants running matter, a different computer module, or both. Clearing only WPM here is incomplete when another module is printed.
English and Hindi are the usual pair. Police files in Delhi are bilingual. Pick the medium on the admit card. Spoken counter Hindi does not convert an English paper. Roman Hindi is not Devanagari. If you pick Hindi, train InScript on a desktop. This page can switch language. It cannot install the lab image. Changing script after you see the machine wastes a sitting in a crowded Delhi lab.
30 WPM police-flavoured pack as a training floor
English and Hindi typing often sit near 30 WPM. Convert the printed figure. Official error-counting, font, and backspace follow that year’s SSC or Delhi Police letter. This browser allows ordinary backspace so you can train recovery. If the letter freezes correction, add never-correct sittings. Do not argue a CHSL 35 WPM or 10,500 key-depression story at a police lab door unless the notice uses that language. Hold accuracy first.
CRPF and other CAPF ministerial papers are cousins, not the same notice. Use this Delhi Police page if SSC or Delhi Police issued your admit card, and the CRPF/CAPF page if that is your advertisement. Same family of ministerial typing, different force and letterhead. Physical standards and conducting body can differ. Opening the CRPF card still trains fingers. It teaches the wrong force story. FIR extracts and confidential notes punish a leaked or mistyped name.
Physical standards that can still apply to ministerial posts
Many candidates treat HCM as a pure desk job and skip the physical appendix. Read the advertisement. Height and other standards may still apply. This typing page does not simulate race, long jump, or medical exams. Clear those as notified. A comfortable mock is not a PST waiver. A medical does not waive typing. Sequence the gates as printed. Keep both instruction sheets in one folder. Bilingual Delhi police files still want English and Hindi after joining.
DSSSB JSA is a different Delhi employer. Delhi High Court JJA is a different Delhi employer. If your hall ticket is DSSSB or the High Court, open those cards. If it is Delhi Police HCM, stay here. Same city, different service rules. Opening the DSSSB card teaches GNCTD e-office, not FIR extracts. Opening the High Court card teaches cause lists, not police-office notes. Match the letterhead. SSC may issue the admit card; the post remains Delhi Police ministerial.
FIR extracts and confidential notes after joining
Police offices type FIR extracts, reports, and confidential notes. Accuracy and confidentiality matter. Practise clean capitals on names, sections, and dates after you hold the timed gate. The official passage may still be generic. The desk will not be generic. A typo in a name on a police record is a professional incident. Exam typing is a burst. Thana typing is interruption and identifiers. Height or physical standards may still apply to some ministerial rows.
Week one: confirm HCM versus AWO/TPO, language, and whether physical standards apply. Take three ten-minute baselines. Week two: accuracy plus name-and-section drills. Week three: full-window holds. Week four: reread the skill-test letter and the physical appendix, rest. CBT merit is not typing. Typing is not PET. Split the week. Touch typing survives a crowded lab; hunt-and-peck dies in noise. Wireless or technical post names on the same advertisement can skip this clock.
CAPF ministerial as a cousin, not the same notice
Document verification matches the SSC or Delhi Police list. The candidate name in settings is a local label. Labs match photo and signature. A practice WPM does not cure a missing certificate. Carry whatever the notice lists. Eat, use a familiar desktop keyboard the day before, and bring glasses if you need them. Official PDFs always win if they disagree with this guide. Medical and DV stages remain after a cleared skill sitting.
After selection, keep a weekly timed sitting in the language you qualified on. Confidentiality is a workplace rule this site cannot score. Accuracy on names and sections is the transferable habit. This pack is police-ministerial flavour, not CCTNS. Official tools will not look like a browser. A 30 WPM practice gate is a training floor, not a joining letter. AWO and TPO computer modules, when listed, sit outside this running-matter pack.
CBT then skill then medical, not GD PE as the main story
If your advertisement is for General Duty constable, you may not have this test at all. GD PE is not this card. If your advertisement is HCM, do not train as if 1600 metres were the skill test. Read the post name. Opening this URL as a GD applicant is unused time. Opening a GD poster as an HCM applicant is how people skip typing and fail the lab.
If a paragraph here conflicts with the current SSC or Delhi Police advertisement, follow the advertisement. If the post has no typing test, you do not need this exam box. If AWO/TPO adds another computer module, add that skill outside this page. Nothing here is transmitted to Delhi Police or SSC. Official software remains theirs. CRPF ministerial notices are a different force even in the same WPM family. General Duty constable PE is not Head Constable (Ministerial) typing.
