What is the CPO selection process?

Paper I CBT, PET/PST, Paper II English, detailed medical. There is no interview. PET includes race, long jump, high jump and shot put as in the CPO notice (male/female norms differ). Failing PET ends SI candidature; SSC will not convert you to a CHSL clerk seat.

Is Paper 1 date the same as CGL Tier 1?

No. CGL Tier 1 is 30 September–30 October 2026. CPO Paper 1 is not announced. If both ever overlap, SSC still treats them as separate applications and separate city slips. Apply to CPO before 30 September regardless of CGL travel plans.

SSC CPO Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs 2026 lists 1,871 vacancies. Apply from 10 to 30 September 2026 on ssc.gov.in. Paper 1 is not scheduled yet.

Male Delhi Police SI applicants need a valid LMV driving licence as specified. CAPF SI (BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB) follows the same Paper 1 but different force preferences and medicals.

This is not SSC GD Constable (CBT already over in April–May 2026). CPO is a graduate SI exam with PET/PST after Paper 1.
