When will Technician city intimation start?

RRB practice is about 10 days before the CBT, so around 26 September 2026 for a 6 October slot. Later dates in the 6–9 October window get later city links. Login at https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/ with CEN 02/2026 credentials. City is not the full admit card; wait ~4 days more for the e-call letter with photograph and reporting time.

How many vacancies and applicants are there?

6,557 Technician Grade I Signal / Grade III posts, with about 841,542 applications reported. Competition is therefore not comparable to a 119-post Section Controller CEN. Zone-wise vacancies remain in CEN 02/2026, not in CEN 04/2026 JE’s revised 4,029.

What should I carry on exam day?

Printed e-call letter, original photo ID matching the application, and any extra annexure RRB prints (scribe, PwBD). Banned items lists are strict. After CBT, wait for official keys on regional RRB sites. Do not mix this score with ALP CEN 01/2025 CBT-2 result, which is a different 10,970-post cycle.

City intimation is expected about 10 days before each slot (around 26 September 2026 for early October dates). E-call letters usually follow about 4 days before the exam on rrbapply.gov.in.

Grade I Signal and Grade III are different educational streams in the same CEN. Do not confuse this with ALP CEN 01/2026 (CBT-1 date not out) or JE CEN 04/2026 (27–30 October).
