Is the RBI Assistant mains result declared?

What is the Language Proficiency Test for RBI Assistant?

LPT is qualifying. You must show reading, writing and speaking ability in the official / local language of the RBI office you chose. Failing LPT removes the candidature even with a high mains score. There is no all-India language option to skip this. Date will come only after a confirmed mains shortlist.

Is RBI Assistant the same as RBI Grade B?

No. Grade B is an officer recruitment now at interview (22 September–9 October 2026). Assistant is a separate clerical panel whose mains was on 7 June 2026. Pay level, exam pattern and eligibility differ. A Grade B interview email is not an Assistant LPT letter.

RBI Assistant mains was held on 7 June 2026. As of early August an official result on rbi.org.in / opportunities.rbi.org.in was not confirmed here. Some coaching pages claim the result is out — treat that as unverified.

After mains, shortlisted candidates take a qualifying Language Proficiency Test (LPT) in the local language of the office they applied for. No LPT date is confirmed on this page.

This is not RBI Grade B (already at interview). Assistant is a clerical-level recruitment with circle-wise vacancies. Check only RBI opportunity pages.
